Christmas Wreath Workshops 2019

Updated: Feb 12, 2020

On Saturday 30th November, we held our annual wreath making workshops. After a morning of foraging and full of festive spirit, our Desford in BIoom volunteers hosted a total 40 lovely villagers (and beyond!) over two sessions. After a mince pie and a cuppa, and some expert tuition from Desford in Bloom's Vice Chairman, everyone set away at making their own beautiful wreath to adorn their front doors over the Christmas period. The finished wreaths looked fantastic - and although everyone started out with the same materials, they were all completely different and unique.

A big thank you to all of our volunteers who foraged, looked after the admin, helped set up, ran the kitchen, ran the workshops and helped clean up (no mean feat!) It was a really great day and we are already looking forward to the next one!
